Host a Food Drive for the Food Bank
All ages can participate when you host a food drive.
​Help feed our neighbors in need on your time and at your pace.

Individuals, Groups, Businesses, Schools; anyone can jump in
to serve our neighbors in need by hosting a food drive.

You decide when and where, advertise your drop off location
or if you plan to pick up donations, and then drop it off to the food bank when your drive is over.

We have some donation barrels available for you to borrow
or banana boxes you can use to collect donations.
Be creative, decorate your own containers, boxes, or bins!

Donation pick up with our truck may be available for total donations
that are larger than 4 feet x 3 feet x 4 feet tall (pallet sized).
Food Drive Ideas
Set up a donation spot at your business, school, or meeting place. Post to social media, in your newsletter, or through an email invite for people to drop off food. Set a start and end date, be sure send out reminders with our most wanted items list.
Print flyers (use ours if you like) and attach it to a paper grocery bag.
Deliver the empty bags to your neighbors with a date for pick up.
Pick up the food bags from your neighbors
and deliver them to the food bank.
Make it a friendly competition between teams,
offices, classrooms, or groups.
Count the cans as they come in and the group with the most items wins!
Offer free admission or a discounted admission to your event
with the donation of non-perishable food.
